Here it is mid October and an update is on the way.

We had an eventful August. Grandpa and Nanny went camping at Maryhill State Park on the Columbia with just the dogs. Uncle J was at Kiwanis camp so we took off. We had a wonderful time however to short.

My mother who has Alzheimer's and has been living with us for the past 3 and 1/2 years had to be moved to a care facility.

And this month our faithful friend Grant had to be put to sleep due to cancer. He was almost 14, and had brought much joy to many. We miss him but are happy he is no longer in pain. God blessed us with Grant.

We also were able to spend time with 3 of our 6 favorite grands.

Here is Noah on his swing. And checking on the grapes.

Lyssie in the pool? ... or maybe I should say the air. And Kaylee swimming across the pool.

Later in the week they made delicious pizzas for us.

In September we as a family went to the Kiwanis- walk- athon and all participated in the 5K. Jeremiah was the camp ambassador for the event and did a wonderful job. The camp is for people with disabilities and gives many an opportunity to experience the out of doors in a safe and fun environment.
