November is a beautiful time of the year

November is a great time to count our blessings. We were able to see all of these blessings this month. We are ever so thankful for each one of them. And we look forward to more time together next month. As we anticipate the future let us tell you of our adventures over the last month. This precious baby is changing daily. He turned 9 months old and is a joy to be around.

Kaylee and Lyssie came over for the week end and as usual we had a craft project. these girls love to craft and plan that there will be a craft time at Nanny's house. Kaylee made a bear and Lyssie made a kitten. They have both done a little sewing on projects but this was a start and finish activity we all enjoyed.

They ended the day with a wild bubble bath. There were bubbles on the window sill and on the floor. Who knew that you only add half the bubbles if you use the jets. I almost couldn't find the girls!!!

One evening while we waited for grandpa to come home Benn took the girls and bikes out to the barn (it has a riding arena, and we have no horses) to ride bikes. Kaylee's is a little big for her so her dad helped her and as you can see Lyssie zipped right along.

Noah came for a visit and was his usually charming self.


We were able to go visit our Idaho family for Thanksgiving. We were received much more than we gave. Sarah was on call and ended up not going to work and was able to spend the whole time we were there together.

The girls had made some very Turkeyish place mats for us and Abby wore a Turkey hat to the airport to meet us.

We went with Sarah and the children to the Crutchfields for Thanksgiving dinner along with many from the congregation. It was great to see everyone. There were so many pies that there was enough for each person to have their own pie, but of course we were all so full from that wonderful meal that maybe a third if that of the pies were eaten. Lots of visiting and playing games. Abby is becoming quite the competitor.

Hallie entertained us with her dress up costumes.

And Aaron got up from his much needed sleep and joined us for a while.

And Titus entertained us with his many smiles.

The day we left we were able to get pictures with these three sweet children.

We came home to this charming guy. And are very grateful to Michal, Dave and Ben who made it possible for us to go. They stayed here with grandpa and had very eventful Turkey of a weekend. Hopefully next time will be made better by all the alarms an whistles.
