Our December was a whirlwind of blessings. God is always good but we have so much to be thankful for. The following is a hodgepodge of Grandpa and Nanny's Blessings.A new addition to the family. Welcome Gracie. She is 4 weeks old here and not home yet. Alyssa spent time coloring with Grandpa.
We all get to pitch in for Uncle Dave while he works to get a tree for their house.
Grandpa and Nanny spent a quiet weekend enjoying Leavenworth. A yearly December thing for us.
On our return between storms we went for our own tree. Grandpa wanted a big one since all the kids and grands would be there. 9 feet later.
A visit to the nursing home with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.

Christmas Eve Brunch with all but the Idaho Family. Snow and Ice delayed, postponed and canceled there flight. But they were able to get there the day after Christmas.

A trip to build a bear with all four grandaughters. There is no way the Monday after Christmas I could do this alone. Thankfully Grandpa agreed to come to my aid. We had a wonderful time with all of them.

A common evening sight during this wonderful time of family and friends. Granddaughter sleepovers. A memory.
There were so many wonderful things during this month that they over shadowed any sadness that came our way. Great grandpa went to live in the nursing home with great grandma who has been placed on hospice. The next few months may be more difficult but God has blessed us with wonderful memories and plans for the future that help ease a difficult but blest time in our lives.
